PAR-Q & Medical Clearance:
A medical clearance form is required of all participants who answer “yes” to any of the seven PAR-Q questions. Note: Personal training staff reserve the right to require medical clearance from any client they feel may be at risk.

 

Waivers and Policy Statement:
New clients will be asked to sign a basic waiver and policy statement acknowledging understanding of the policies.

 

Payment Policy and Options:
Payment is due prior to the session. Payments may be made via cash, check, PayPal Send Money transfer, or credit card in person.

 

Session Duration:
Sessions lengths vary, but in order to maintain proper scheduling, sessions will be held to the purchased time frame.

 

Warmup:
In order to make the best use of session time and provide you with the best value, we ask that you arrive early enough to warm up for your session. This should be a 10-15 minute warm-up of jogging, rowing, elliptical, or another activity that lightly works the whole body.

 

Attire:
Please come prepared to each training session in proper workout attire and footwear (shorts, gym pants, T-shirt, sweatshirt, supportive sneakers). Participants arriving unprepared for their training session may lose session time.

 

Late Policy:
Clients are responsible for arriving on-time to their training sessions. Trainers are obligated to wait only 15 minutes (10 minutes for 30-minute sessions). After 15 minutes (10 minutes for 30-minute sessions), the trainer is not required to lead the remaining time of the session and the session may be lost.

 

Cancellation Policy: 
Clients are asked to call, email, or text 24 hours in advance of the scheduled training session. You will be charged for appointments cancelled with fewer than 24 hours notice. Failure to contact us at 443-845-1718 or joannmiller1@gmail.com will result in a session loss.
